    2. Transfer of Registrations
If a participant is unable to attend the race, their registration can be transferred. This procedure is carried out by the organizers and requires a resignation statement from the transferring party, along with the new participant’s details. The signed statement should be sent to info@platinumsport.hu. The document can be downloaded here.
    3. About the Registration System and Personal Profile
You can register for the race on this website. The privacy policy can be viewed here. It is recommended to register and provide the required information in your profile, so that these details will be automatically filled in during your future registrations.

The Organizer can accept the cancellation of registration only in writing, via email to info@platinumsport.hu, and only if made at least one month before the event. The paid amount will be handled according to the provisions outlined in the “Cancellation or Postponement of the Event” section.
    5. Liability Statement

  5. Event Organization
    1. Start Times
The race will start at a fixed time, but depending on the number of participants, the Organizer may assign multiple start times and may start the “slower” and “faster” runners/teams separately.
    2. Parking
The Participant agrees to comply with the parking rules and regulations at the event and race center, in the interest of themselves and other participants. The organizers will provide limited free parking options.
    3. About the Race Route
The race route will be marked with signs, barriers, buoys, and markings. These markings must be followed during the race. It is the responsibility of each runner to stay on the designated route. Runners must follow the direction of travel unless the markings indicate otherwise. Cutting corners is strictly prohibited. STAFF members, community officers, and police will assist along the route, and participants must follow their instructions at all times. Failure to do so will result in the participant’s race number being removed, and they will be disqualified from the race. Participants can familiarize themselves with the route on the website prior to the race, where it will be published with a map and accompanying description.
The race routes and refreshment stations can be viewed on the website.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the route.
    4. About the Refreshment Stations
Refreshment stations will be located every 2-3 kilometers along the course, offering water, isotonic drinks, bananas, and glucose for the participants.
    5. In the Case of Timing System Failure
The leading runners in the race may be accompanied by a media motorbike or cyclist within sight for live coverage and accurate time recording. If the timing system fails, the motorbike or cyclist escorts will manually record the participants’ passage at the checkpoints.
    6. About Wearing the Race Number
During the race, the Participant must wear their race number in a visible location. A 10-minute time penalty may be imposed on anyone who folds, covers, or wears their race number in a way that makes it not clearly visible. A participant who continues to violate the race number wearing rules despite a warning may be disqualified.
    7. Race Categories Measured with Chip System
The disposable chip is attached to the race number, and its removal is strictly prohibited. If a participant does not wear the chip during the race, their time will not be recorded, and they will be automatically disqualified from the race.
    8. Traffic Management
Participants have the right of way throughout the entire route, so during the urban sections of the course, there will be partial or full road closures. Traffic will be directed along the entire route by event staff and community officers.
    9. Stroller Running
Running with a stroller is only allowed at your own risk. The Organizer accepts no responsibility for any accidents that may occur as a result.
    10. Participant Limit and Registration Closure
The Organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants. Registration may be closed at any time, canceled due to technical issues, and reopened if necessary.
    11. About Time Limits
The Organizer will ensure the course is available until the time specified in the race descriptions. After this time, participants may use the course at their own risk and accept that work may be carried out on the route.
    12. Race Etiquette
The Participant acknowledges that mutual respect and acceptance are inseparable elements of the race’s spirit. Traffic controllers, parking attendants, and event staff work in this spirit. Any physical aggression, spitting, vulgar language, messages, letters, or offensive comments on social media directed at staff will result in immediate disqualification from the race. The Organizer may take official action if necessary. Furthermore, the Organizer will not accept registrations from the participant for any future events they organize.
    13. Complaints
Any complaints related to the event must be submitted in writing to the Organizer within 3 hours after the event ends. Complaints submitted after this time will not be considered by the Organizer.
  6. Cancellation or Postponement of the Race
    1. Vis major
The Participant acknowledges that the organization of the race may be hindered by unavoidable external factors (force majeure), such as— but not limited to— weather conditions, pandemics, natural disasters, strikes, or blockades. If the route or area permit is unavailable, if a passage permit is revoked before the race start, or due to any other unforeseen, extreme, or uncontrollable circumstances, the race cannot be held. In such cases, the Organizer will designate an alternative date (officially communicated).
    2. Rescheduled Date
The Organizer will not set a rescheduled date when opening registrations. If the race needs to be postponed, the participants will be notified in writing about the new date.

    3. In Case of Race Cancellation
      1. Refund Policy for Registration Fees
Organizing the event involves continuous preparation costs, which are funded by the registration fees paid by participants (including salaries and taxes for the organizing team, office expenses, travel costs for site visits, programming tasks and subscriptions, graphic design work, non-cancelable services ordered from suppliers, etc.). Any postponement comes with additional costs and unforeseen extra work.
To ensure the long-term viability of the event, the following policy is in place: In the event of a cancellation for the current year, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded to participants. The remaining 50% will be used to cover the preparation costs incurred up until that point, securing the possibility of future events.
If the event is canceled, the Organizer will refund 50% of the original registration fee. After issuing a cancellation invoice for the 50% refund, the amount will be transferred to the participant’s bank account within 8 days.
      2. Individually Manufactured Products (e.g., T-shirts, Finisher Medals, etc.)
        1. If the custom items were not included in the registration fee, and the production has not yet started (which occurs one month before the event’s start), 90% of the cost will be refunded. This is because the cost per item is impacted by the total production quantity.
        2. Once the production of custom items has begun, we are unable to refund the cost.
        3. If the custom items were included in the registration fee, the refund will be processed according to the terms outlined in the “Refund Policy for Registration Fees” section.
    4. If the participant is unable to attend the event, whether due to cancellation or withdrawal, the following options are still available:
      • The organizer provides the participant with the option to transfer their registration to the following year.
The registration fee will be fully credited towards the next year’s fee (100%), but the price of the custom products can be transferred to the following year only as described in the “Custom-made products” section, or may not be transferred at all.
    5. In case of stormy weather:
In the event of stormy weather, the Organizer may temporarily or permanently suspend the race and later restart it. In the case of a suspended race, no backup date will be set, and no refunds will be issued. The Organizer will provide updates to participants via social media, specifically the event’s Facebook page, during the race.
  7. Recordings, Media, Advertisements
    1. Regarding the Use of Drones
In compliance with applicable drone regulations, drones may only be operated during the event with the written permission of the Organizer.
    2. Photography and Recordings
The Participant acknowledges that during the event, images and recordings of them may be taken. The Participant consents to the creation and use of these images and recordings. They understand that the Organizer may use photos and footage of them in promotional videos and other media for advertising purposes. The Participant also acknowledges that external security cameras at the racecourse and event center may capture footage of them. They consent to receiving emails and messages from the Organizer to the email address and phone number listed in their personal profile, regarding the event information and other sporting events.
    3. GDPR
By submitting their registration, each applicant consents to the processing, reproduction, and transmission of their personal data: In accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the applicant consents to the processing of their personal data. By registering for an event organized by Platinum Bt., the participant voluntarily gives their consent to Platinum Bt. (the data controller) to process their personal data for the purpose of event management. The applicant also consents to the use of their data for purposes other than organizational tasks, including:
      • The participant consents to the use of photographs or other visual representations of their person in Platinum Bt.’s marketing, advertising, and other informational publications.
      • The participant consents to the reproduction of the submitted registration information.

    5. About additional sponsors:
During the award ceremony, the competitors called to the podium may bring a national flag, but not any signs or inscriptions displaying other sponsors or supporters. An exception is made if the participant’s own sponsor is involved.
